Tanzania is the largest country in East Africa. The country got its independence in 1961 after being colonized by the Portuguese, Germany and the British. At the crater site you will be able to visit a number of different habitats such as the swampy grasslands that are home to such animals as crocodiles and such as well as being able to see animals who enjoy their habitat of the Savannah lands. The conservation area comprises of a significant archaeological site of Olduvai Gorge and Ngorongoro Crater.
